Bornan Sports Technology becomes official provider for APSO
The Association of Paralympic Sports Organisations (APSO) is proud to announce Bornan Sports Technology as its official technology provider. Created in 2017 and having their main HQ in Lausanne, the company delivers quick and powerful technology solutions, base software and digital platforms for sport organisations and major sport events. The latter include the Mediterranean Games, African Youth Games, ANOC World Beach Games, Gulf Council Games, and a range of World Championships and other top sports events.
Eva Maria Cordoba, CEO and co-founder at Bornan, said on the occasion of the announcement:
“We are proud to work closely with APSO and help them develop their digital presence. APSO’s mission matches perfectly with Bornan’s DNA. We live and breathe sport and always aim to provide smart, customised and cost-efficient technology which meets our clients’ specific needs.”
Sabrina Ibáñez, President of APSO, said:
“We are thankful to Bornan for their precious support so far and look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration with them. The team has always been very responsive and reliable, but also creative. Whilst we are still a young organisation, we are developing rapidly and need a strong technology provider on our side who knows the Movement inside out.”
Bornan created www.apso.sport and will continue to provide its outstanding sport-tech expertise to APSO as the Association continues to professionalise and grow in order to serve its athletes and the Paralympic community in the best way possible. Just last month, APSO became a member of the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF), an important recognition of its collective voice for those Paralympic sports governed independently from the IPC.
